Senior Winter Series

Senior Winter series takes place between the months of October – March, starting on Tuesday 7th October and being run every other week. The event is open to members / visitors over the age of 55 years. All participants must be members of recognised Golf Clubs with an official Active CONGU Competition handicap.

Each event has a generous prize fund and additional spot prizes where competitors can gain free entry to the following event.

Entry fee per event is £20.00.

Updates for 2025/2026

Divisions:

We will no longer be having separate divisions, therefore everyone is welcome to attend every week.

Format:

We will only be running an individual Stableford for every event. If more players would like to trial the Betterball at some point again, please inform Byron.

Booking:

All bookings will be made online via the link at the top of the page (BOOK NOW), you will be able to book up to 2 weeks in advance, the price will remain £20 per person and payment will still only be required in the shop on the day of the competition.

Out of courtesy, please ensure you cancel your tee time if you are unable to attend.

Extra incentives:

The Payout each week will go down to 6th place and will ONLY be paid out if a minimum of 26 players are playing.

To add extra prizes and incentive to play as often as possible, we will be running an order of merit from the first week until the Christmas Caper, then following from Christmas, we will run an eclectic from January until March.
