A warm welcome to the Kilworth Springs Ladies Section!
In the Clubhouse foyer you’ll see a Ladies Section notice board displaying information about our upcoming activities. Upstairs in the ladies changing rooms (ask in pro shop for door code) you’ll find further information on the notice boards. We also have a ‘Welcome Pack for New Members’ available in the foyer, this contains information about the Ladies Section (this is currently being updated, a revised version will be put onto the ladies website pages when available).
Thursday is our ‘Ladies Only’ competition day, we also have a Ladies Monday social. For full details just click on the green highlighted tabs entitled ‘Ladies Monday Social’ and ‘Ladies Competitions’ within these ladies’ section web pages.
‘All club’ competitions (usually played at weekends) are also open to ladies, you’ll find details of these in our ‘Club Diary’ located in the ‘Members Area/Members News’ web pages – they are also posted on the main notice board downstairs in the foyer.
We also have friendly/mixed/scratch/handicap matches throughout the Summer – for full details/dates please click on the green highlighted tab entitled ‘Matches’ within these ladies section web pages. We host a Ladies Open in the Spring, application forms are available from the club or on our website. You can also book your own tee time through BRS.
We welcome you to join us for a coffee after play on Mondays/Thursdays. If you’d like to get to know some of the ladies who play here, or if you’d like to find fellow members to play with on other days, please contact Elaine Holloway (Lady Captain) by email on email@example.com or ring her on 07974 939997.
The Ladies Committee organises all ladies events and ensures the smooth running of our Ladies Section. The current Committee is detailed below. Please feel free to contact any of the committee members if you’d like help or advice relating to our Ladies Section. Please spend some time exploring these Ladies Section web pages to see the various Competitions/Team Events we encourage all ladies to join in.

Lady Captain’s Charity for 2022
Our 2022 Lady Captain, Elaine Holloway, has chosen the Charity ‘Amend’ as her nominated charity. You can click the link here to read all about the ‘Amend’ charity. Please give Elaine all your help in supporting this worthy cause during her Captaincy year.
As a player you’re expected to know your own handicap at all times. You should sign up to ‘HowDidIDo’ to be notified automatically if your handicap changes. Also, via your specific CONGU membership number, the CONGU website will have a record of your handicap. Please sign up to the CONGU website for this – details on the main ‘Members Area’ of this website.
New Handicaps / Transferring In
The relevant form is available downstairs in the club foyer, located near the computer screen. Please take a form and then complete 3 medal cards of 18 holes at Kilworth Springs (or the equivalent 54 holes). Your card must be marked by a Kilworth member who already has a handicap. We’ll find someone to help you if you don’t know anyone, just contact the ladies handicap secretary or lady captain. Put your signed cards and completed form in the letterbox next to the computer screen.
This form also applies if you are transferring from another club.
